This Nisswa Gardeners plant flowers in several places in Nisswa in the spring.  These sites require watering and maintenance throughout the growing season.  The plantings are located at the Nisswa School sign, and both sides of the entrance into the Community Center.  New plantings are discussed each year.  There are usually several “teams” that are responsible for a certain time period during the growing season.  Each team waters every other week.

The Memorial Gardens are located at the gazebo in downtown
Nisswa. They consist of two large planter boxes designed
and built by Chuck Larson in 2003. Memorial donations
by and for club members are used to establish and maintain
the plantings. Club members weed, water, and nurture the
plantings throughout the summer.
